Not only did they go out of their way to ensure my parents were comfortable and well taken care of, but they also patiently engaged with them, even teaching them a few Kichwa words, creating a truly inclusive and welcoming environment. The heating in our rooms surpassed all expectations, as the cozy wood stove kept us comfortably warm throughout the chilly Andean nights.
